Music
Present
I'm currently a member of the Chicago experimental hip-hop group Small Bathroom Fire. As beatbox, I supply all percussion, as well as some other music and sounds with my mouth. I'll post some mp3s soon. We've played a bunch of shows in Chicago so far, email me if you want to receive emails when we play.
I also play drums and a hauled them things all the way out here from Jersey, so if you want a drummer and/or you have space where I can play them, holler at me.
Past
I used to be in a band called World Without Maps , but we're not working on that right now (possible reunion in the future?). Seth is currently working on a PhD in Theoretical Linguistics at MIT; Ingrid was living in Jersey City working on a Masters last I spoke to her; and Brendan was in New Brunswick, being an artist.
The other three members of world w/o maps - Ingrid, , Brendan (now playing bass!) and me - worked on another indiepop band with Que Chi Luu (guitar, voice, songs) and Marian Chen (guitar, violin) for a bit. I'm not sure if we ever had a definite name, but we played one show under the name 'Action Potential' at the Rutgers WRSU radio Cinco de Secret fest last May. Brendan, Ian, and Mike MacGill and I also did a rockin' band for a few months, but never got around to playing out. The three of them have since started their own independent (no duh of course it's independent) label called little albany street records. Check them out!!!
