Before returning to academia, I worked as one of the first employees of Diamond Bullet Design, a website design firm that focuses on usability and user-centered website design. Along with developing websites, we spent a significant amount of time detailing what it means to make a website highly usable. This resulted in a series of tutorials and culminated in a book I co-authored entitled, "Designing Web Sites that Work: Usability for the Web".
